An Irish guy wowed people on Dragon's Den last night with his 'toilet flusher for kids'
BBC BBC
WE’RE RIGHT IN the thick of a new season of Dragon’s Den and you know what that means — lots of big ideas and lots of crushed dreams.
Last night, one of the brave entrepreneurs to try sell their wares to the panel of judges was Irish man Jamie Lawlor.
Jamie was there to show off his idea, Kids’ Flush, a product that encourages children to, er, flush the toilet
It bills itself as an “easy and fun toilet button to help get them to flush,” and it looks a little like a fun Fisher Price toy.

Jamie believed that his idea had global potential and was seeking a £40,000 investment in return for a 20% share
He then delivered a rather compelling argument.

The best part? When you press the button, you hear the sounds of some Ryanair-esque fanfare
Congratulations! You just flushed the toilet!
As you can imagine, this tickled the judges to no end.

People at home were sold anyway.
Although some were concerned that the music could drive parents demented

Many of the Dragons were complimentary of the idea, but didn’t think that it was for them
But in the end, Touker Suleyman offered £40,000 for a 40% stake and Jamie accepted!

And demand was so high that the Kids Flush website crashed afterwards.
